This policy explains how Scenteq Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, SDKs) on this website, the lawful bases we rely on under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 ("PECR"), and how you can manage your preferences. 1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They may be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent, and may be set by us (first-party) or by third parties whose services we embed.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to work: routing, security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice (scenteq_cookie_consent_v2, stored in local storage for 6 months) and processing form submissions. Set without consent under PECR Regulation 6(4).
• Analytics (consent required) — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Where enabled we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation; typical cookies are _ga and _ga_*, retained for up to 24 months.
• Advertising / conversion measurement (consent required) — used to measure enquiries generated by our marketing campaigns.
• Functional (consent required where non-essential) — remember choices that enhance your experience.

3. Lawful basis and consent

All non-essential cookies are set only with your prior, freely given, specific and informed consent (PECR Regulation 6 / UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), collected via our cookie banner. Nothing optional is pre-ticked, rejecting is as easy as accepting, and no analytics or advertising tags fire until consent is granted. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent.

4. Managing and withdrawing consent

Use the "Change your cookie settings" button above, or the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, to grant or withdraw consent per category at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Your choice is stored for 6 months, after which we ask again. Browser settings also allow you to block or delete cookies generally, though strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to work correctly.

5. Do Not Track and global signals

Optional cookies remain off unless you actively allow them, so browsers sending "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals are respected by default.
