Scenteq — scenting spaces

Restaurant odour control

Clean air at the door and in the washrooms.

Odour management for restaurants and bars — placed where food aroma is not the product, and kept out of the dining room.

The problem

What makes this space different

Kitchen extract pulls air through the dining room toward the pass. Fragrance placed in the wrong spot fights that flow and wastes oil.

The two areas guests actually judge — the entrance and the washrooms — are usually the two nobody has specified.

Coverage

Areas we specify

  • Entrance and waiting area
  • Bar and lounge, at restrained output
  • Corridors and stairwells between floors
  • Washrooms and lobbies
  • Private dining and function rooms

Our approach

How we get it right

Dining rooms stay unscented

The kitchen owns that air. We scent the arrival, the circulation and the washrooms instead.

Families that sit behind food

Clean woods, light citrus, tea and mineral accords. No gourmand or sweet floral profiles that compete with a plate.

Set against extract, not opening hours

Output is scheduled around the extract cycle so fragrance holds where it is meant to.

FAQs

Restaurant odour control: FAQs

Will scenting interfere with the food?
Not when the dining room is left unscented and fragrance is placed at the entrance, bar, corridors and washrooms with low-sweetness profiles.
Can scenting fix a kitchen extract problem?
No, and we will say so. Scenting manages the baseline in circulation areas and washrooms; an undersized extract needs fixing first.
Is it suitable for washrooms specifically?
Yes. Washrooms have predictable odour pressure and are one of the highest-value areas to scent in any hospitality venue.
